A new innovation cluster has been established in Kyiv, integrating the intellectual resources of the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute of Socio-Economic Development of the City (‘NДІРоМ’). An agreement was signed for cooperation among 25 higher education institutions of various ownership forms.

The cluster includes leading universities such as the Ukrainian State University named after M. Dragomanov, Kyiv School of Economics, and the State Trade and Economic University, among others.

‘The main goal of our initiative is to consolidate knowledge and experience in the scientific and educational fields to address pressing issues of Kyiv's development,’ said the director of ‘NДІРоМ’, Serhiy Pavlovskyi.

At the meeting, a new strategy for Kyiv's development until 2027 was presented, focusing on security, inclusivity, and gender equality.

An educational and career guidance project titled ‘Become a Student for a Day’ was also announced, aimed at helping prospective students understand student life.

‘This project will enable young people to make informed choices about their future professions,’ emphasized Pavlovskyi.

Additionally, a startup competition in the field of artificial intelligence has been launched, inviting young talents and engineers to participate. The final will take place at the ‘PRO:KYIV’ conference in December.
