Ukraine is initiating the AI Factory project aimed at establishing a vital national infrastructure for the development of artificial intelligence. This project will ensure that the data of the government and its citizens remain within the country, protected by sovereign data centers. AI products will become more accessible and efficient for Ukrainians and the public sector.

The AI Factory will serve as the foundation for key AI services developed by the WINWIN AI Center of Excellence for the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The first service will be an AI assistant within the Diia app. In the future, the infrastructure will be utilized for an AI tutor in the Mriya app, as well as in the fields of medicine, defense, and scientific research.

The core components of the AI Factory include:

•  computing clusters and servers to support AI services
•  software for training models and data processing
•  tools for integrating services with government registries
•  educational programs for AI specialists

The launch of the AI Factory represents a significant step toward technological sovereignty and digital security for Ukraine, laying the groundwork for the development of an independent AI ecosystem in the country.
