Samsung Updates Account Policy for Users

Recently, Samsung revealed updates to its account policy set to take effect on July 31, 2025. The key change is that accounts inactive for 24 months will be deleted, as reported by Sammobile.

If users have not logged into their Samsung account or utilized it for services within the last two years, they will be deemed inactive and subject to deletion. Following this, access to the account will be restricted, and all associated data will be irretrievably lost.

To prevent deletion, Samsung advises users to log into their accounts by July 31 or use any company service requiring authentication. Additionally, the company will send emails to owners of inactive accounts, reminding them to log in.

This policy aims to enhance the security of user data for those who have not accessed their accounts for an extended period. Therefore, those who have not used their Samsung account in a while should check its activity to avoid losing access.
