Artem Dovbyk, forward for Roma and the Ukrainian national team, has been recognized as the best player of March in Italy's Serie A.

Dovbyk won the fan voting. Competing alongside him were Nicolo Barella (Inter), Lucas Da Cunha (Como), Nicolo Fagioli (Fiorentina), Riccardo Orsolini (Bologna), and Umar Sadiq (Udinese).

He is the second Ukrainian to earn the player of the month award in Serie A, following Ruslan Malinovskyi, who claimed it twice in May 2021 and February 2022 while playing for Atalanta.

In March, Dovbyk played 4 matches for Roma, scoring 3 goals. This marks his first player of the month award in the Italian top league at the age of 27.

Overall, the former Girona striker has netted 16 goals and provided 4 assists in 40 matches for Roma across all competitions this season. Claudio Ranieri's team currently sits in 7th place in the Serie A standings.
