Today, April 2, the fourth match of the finals series took place between Kremenchuk and Kyiv Capitals.
The game ended with a score of 3:1 in favor of the capital club. Now, the Capitals lead the series (3-1), and the next match could be decisive.
Vadym Shakhraichuk's team started strong. In the first period, the hosts scored twice: at the 9-minute mark, Serhiy Chernenko opened the scoring, and two minutes before the end of the first period, Canadian player Yang Hu doubled the advantage.
In the second period, Kremenchuk had a chance to equalize, but Vitaliy Lyalka failed to convert a penalty shot. However, soon after, Igor Yedapin's team managed to score, with Gevorkyan converting a power play.
In the middle of the third period, the Kyiv team also converted a power play. Latvian Berdniks took a long shot that possibly surprised goalkeeper Eduard Zakarchenko.
With two minutes left before the final buzzer, an alarm interrupted the game. After a half-hour break, the teams finished the match, but the score remained unchanged.
