Today, April 2nd, Shakhtar faced Oleksandriya in a Ukrainian Cup match, vying for a spot in the semifinals.

The match concluded with a score of 1:0 in favor of the "miners".

Both teams are competing for the championship title, making this match particularly significant in the quarterfinal stage.

The teams started the game with enthusiasm, but there was a lot of chaos. The first shot on target occurred in the 12th minute, with Kaluzhnyi's strike being saved by goalkeeper Riznyk. Three minutes later, Pedrinho responded with a shot but lacked accuracy.

Before the halftime whistle, both teams had half-chances, but there were no particularly dangerous events on the field.

The second half followed a similar pattern. The only change was that the "orange and black" had more control of the game. The final whistle marked a draw – 0:0.

At the beginning of extra time, Traore had a chance to score but failed to beat Georgiy Yermakov.

The team of Marino Pusic capitalized on one of their opportunities. In the 109th minute, Georgiy Sudakov, instead of delivering a cross or taking a free-kick, found Kevin on the flank, who skillfully avoided Shostak and shot into the far corner. This goal became decisive in the match.
