The municipal establishment «Specialized Assembly and Operation Unit» has summarized the work done during this summer season along the city’s coastline.

Thanks to the establishment of a two-way bike lane from the 11th to the 16th station of the Great Fountain, cyclists can now conveniently reach the coastline from the city center.

«This bike lane allows for safe mobility throughout the city. We are witnessing a rise in its popularity, so upon the mayor's directive, we will continue to develop cycling routes across Odesa,» stated Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.

The president of the cycling club «Arcadia» also highlighted the positive changes.

«This bike lane has become the best in the city. I have noticed a significant increase in the number of cyclists since its opening. People are actively responding to the new markings. It's encouraging to see the development of cycling sports in Odesa,» said Victoria Bondarenko.

The city's plans include further enhancement of the cycling transport infrastructure, including connecting residential areas through new bike routes.
