The runner-up of Ukraine in javelin throw, Dmytro Fedusov, has been banned from competition for violating anti-doping regulations. This was reported by the National Anti-Doping Center.
The athlete's sample tested positive for the stimulant 5-methylhexan-2-amine and the anabolic steroid 19-norandrosterone. The ban is effective from October 28, 2025.
It is noteworthy that in August, Dmytro placed second at the Ukrainian javelin championship, achieving a result of 64.69 meters.
Previously, Fedusov won a bronze medal at the 2023 Ukrainian championship and set a personal record of 65 meters during a tournament in Brest in 2016.
Additionally, it was revealed that the famous heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker failed a doping test.
