Olijnikova Reaches WTA 125 Final

Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandra Olijnikova has reached the final of the prestigious Women’s Tennis Association (WTA 125) Tucumán Open taking place in Argentina, with a prize pool of $115,000.
In the semifinals, Olijnikova (ranked No. 139 in WTA) defeated Greek player Despina Papamichail (No. 200) after a two-hour match with scores of 6:2, 3:6, 6:1.
In the final, Oleksandra will compete against the third-seeded Mayar Sherif from Egypt (No. 103).
If she wins the decisive match, she will become the 108th ranked player in the world for the first time in her career.
Let’s remember that in September, Oleksandra Olijnikova won the WTA 125 tournament in Tolentino, Italy.
