Remarkable performance by Ukrainian athletes at the European Championship in modern pentathlon taking place in Alanya, Turkey.

On the first day of the competition, our athletes secured 13 medals in laser run:

• «Gold»: Kirill Potashko (U17, boys, individual event); Oleg Rybak (U19, boys, individual event); Milana Lurci-Ogli (juniors, individual event); Vladislav Chekan (men, individual event); Kiril Pidopryhora and Kirill Potashko (U-17, men's relay); Valeria Permikina and Milana Lurci-Ogli (adults, women's relay).
• «Silver»: Eva Chaika (U17, girls, individual event); Kiril Pidopryhora (U17, boys, individual event); Maxim Kovalchuk (U19, boys, individual event); Danilo Syche (juniors, individual event);
• «Bronze»: Alexander Chenychev (U19, boys, individual event); Anastasia Chizhova (women, individual event); Vladislav Chekan and Valeria Permikina (adults, mixed relay).
