On Saturday, November 1st, the Kyiv Capitals, who finished as runners-up in last season's Ukrainian championship, played another match in the Baltic League, where they convincingly defeated Riga Prism with a score of 6:2.
The team from Kyiv effectively capitalized on their power play opportunities, scoring three goals during a one-player advantage. Two of these goals came in the first period, which provided the team with a comfortable lead.
At the start of the second period, Kyiv was already leading 4:0. Riga managed to score two goals and narrow the gap, but the Capitals responded with two more goals in the final period.
