Two Ukrainian athletes have successfully reached the finals at the ongoing World Championship in Tokyo.
Oleg Doroshchuk cleared all heights in the high jump qualification, achieving a result of 2.25 m on his first attempt, securing his place in the finals.
Mykhailo Kokhan, competing in the hammer throw, recorded an impressive distance of 77.33 m on his first attempt, also ensuring a spot in the finals. The bronze medalist from the 2024 Olympics will be competing in the World Championship finals for the fourth time in his career.
The finals for the men's high jump and hammer throw are scheduled for September 16.
