The Ukrainian women's beach soccer team kicked off their Euroleague-2025 super final campaign with a match against Italy, winning 4:2.
Anastasia Terekh had the first chance to score, but her powerful shot went just wide. The hosts also had an opportunity but failed to capitalize. The Italians were more aggressive in the first half, but no goals were scored.
At the beginning of the second half, Anna Prokopenko found the net, striking accurately into the corner. Terekh then contributed again, along with her teammates. After a deflected shot, the ball ended up in the net – 2:0!
The Italians rushed to recover, but Terekh was impeccable in goal. However, following a corner kick, Italy managed to equalize – 2:2.
In the final period, the girls under Yuriy Klymenko regained the lead. Dubytska shot from distance, and Shulha cleverly redirected the ball – 3:2! With just under a minute left, Shulha scored again, skillfully outplaying the goalkeeper who rushed out – 4:2!
In the closing moments, the team played cohesively, securing a confident victory that advances them in the tournament.

It’s worth noting that Italy lost their first match to Spain 0:3. The next match for the Ukrainians will be on Friday, September 12, at 17:45 against Spain. The women's super final consists of two groups of three teams each, with the winners competing for the Euroleague-2025 trophy. In the previous Euroleague, the Ukrainian women's team finished in 5th place.
