Impressive victories of Ukrainian boxers at the World Championship in Liverpool (United Kingdom).

In the opening round of the competition:

• Ayder Abdurahimov in the 60 kg category defeated Aider Owein Harris-Allen from Wales by a split decision of the judges — 3:2;
• Matviy Rajba (80 kg) knocked out Ben Egi from Germany in the second round.
