On Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, organizers will temporarily limit vehicle traffic along the section from Romana Ratushnoho Street, 1/2 to Solom'yanska, 23. Residents are advised to plan their routes in advance.

On August 30, 2025, the “Solomyansky Run” will take place in the Solomyansky district of Kyiv. This is not just a run, but an annual initiative aimed at raising funds for the military. This year, we support the 1 OShP named after Hero of Ukraine Da Vinci.

Registration for the run is open until August 29. The minimum donation is 300 hryvnias, which can be paid in cash or online.

Participants will gather near school №60 on Romana Ratushnoho Street, 1/2. Everyone will receive a number tag to attach to their shirt. The distance is symbolic: just 2 kilometers, which can be run at your own pace, without pressure for results.

After the finish, participants will receive awards, as well as a chance to enter a raffle for gifts from event partners.

“This is not only a way to support an important cause, but also an opportunity to spend the evening with like-minded people, feel unity, and do something good,” the organizers explain.

Again, note that from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, traffic will be limited along the section from Romana Ratushnoho Street, 1/2 to Solom'yanska, 23. Please plan your routes ahead of time.

The “Solomyansky Run” is an example of how simple actions can have significant impact. Here, participation is what matters, not records.

Additionally, on the Day of Remembrance for Defenders of Ukraine, which is celebrated on August 29 in cities and villages across Ukraine, there will be a run called “Honoring Warriors, Running for the Heroes of Ukraine.”
