Ukrainian fighter Vladimir Shevchenko was unable to secure a medal, losing the match for third place in wushu-sanda.

The fight took place in the 85 kg weight category against Spanish opponent Andre Fandino.

In the first round, Andre won with a narrow score of 1:0. During the second round, Vladimir struggled to overcome his opponent's defense, and additionally suffered a leg injury towards the end of the match.

As a result, the judges awarded the victory to Andre Fandino after two rounds, granting him the bronze medal in the 85 kg category.
