Ukraine's national paralympic volleyball teams have secured bronze medals at the European Championships!
The men's and women's teams finished in third place at the sitting volleyball European Championships held in Győr, Hungary, featuring 12 men's and 9 women's teams.
The women's team won the bronze medal match against Slovenia with a score of 3:1, while the men's team triumphed over Serbia with a score of 3:0.
Yaroslava Lakatosh was named the best defender of the European Championship, while Antonina Zhuk was recognized as the best attacker.
The Ukrainian paralympic teams earned slots as the top three teams (men's and women's) to participate in the 2026 World Championship in sitting volleyball, set to take place in Hangzhou, China.
