The Ukraine volleyball team faced a disappointing loss against Canada in the 12th match of the Nations League, eliminating their chances of reaching the Final Eight.
The match ended with a score of 3:1, leaving the Ukrainians without any points in the tournament standings.
In the first set, the Canadians quickly gained an advantage, but the Ukrainians managed to tie the score at 14:14. However, they failed to capitalize on this momentum and ultimately lost 25:21.
The second set was also quite challenging for the Ukraine team. Despite having a 5-point lead at 17:12, the Canadian team leveled the score, and the Ukrainians narrowly won the set 27:25.
The third set was extremely tense, but the Ukrainians could not secure a two-point lead after tying at 25:25.
In the fourth set, just like in the first, the Ukrainian volleyball players struggled to keep up and lost 25:21.
As a result of this match, Ukraine remains in 7th place in the Nations League standings, but to advance to the Final Eight, they needed to win at least two sets and earn one point.
