Ukrainian biathletes Yulia Jim and Vitaliy Mandzyn are gearing up to participate in the thrilling City Biathlon-2025 event in Dresden, Germany, scheduled for August 30-31.

This year, the races will take place in the heart of Dresden. The start, finish, and shooting range will be located at the Heinz-Steyer Stadium, with a course length of approximately 2.3 kilometers winding through the beautiful city streets and along the Elbe River.

The athletes will compete on roller skis, beginning with qualification heats followed by finals. Both stages will follow a mass-start format, where biathletes will complete five laps and encounter four shooting stages: two lying down and two standing. Each competitor will also have three extra cartridges for shooting.

Overall, the competition will feature ten male and female participants. Currently, nine competitors have been announced, including Ukraine's own Vitaliy Mandzyn and Yulia Jim.
