On November 15, the Kyiv City Art Gallery «Lavra» will host a remarkable exhibition by the renowned Ukrainian sculptor Anatoliy Kush. The artist will showcase over 200 of his works, many of which will be displayed for the first time, reports the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
Among the invited guests are prominent figures in the arts and diplomats from European countries supporting Ukraine in its quest for independence and sovereignty.
«In his works, the artist seeks to elevate humanity, restoring its connection to nature, attempting to bridge the supernatural with the natural, and the superhuman with the human», — states the announcement. — Anatoliy Kush's creativity is an extraordinary phenomenon not only in the context of Ukrainian art but also in the global sphere, contributing to the evolution of European art».
Kush’s works have already gained recognition on the international stage. The artist continues to promote contemporary Ukrainian art, culture, and history at prestigious exhibitions and art fairs worldwide.
As part of the exhibition project, Ukrainian political scientist and author of the book «How Putin's Propaganda Works», Mykola Davyduk, will organize a raffle for a miniature replica of the iconic sculpture «Oranta Ukraine», which adorns the Monument of Independence in Kyiv's Independence Square. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards drones and a minibus for the 210th separate assault regiment.
This exhibition is held with the official support of the UN Fund for CSD, the UNESCO Center in Bologna, and the Kyiv City State Administration.
Additionally, the exhibition will be featured for the first time on the ABC channel (USA) in the program «This Week with Bob Muller», which will exclusively focus on Ukrainian art and its relation to the war.
