The company “Avtostrada” has announced progress on the works at the “Mostytska” station in the Vynogradar district of Kyiv.

Key Information on Metro Construction in Vynogradar

Currently, work is underway at several sites. At the “Mostytska” station, utility relocation and the establishment of a concrete foundation for the pit have commenced. Soon, wall construction in the ground will begin.

Between the “Syrets” and “Mostytska” stations, the drilling of piles for the demolition shaft has been completed, and work on the shaft entrance and dewatering wells has begun.

On the section between “Mostytska” and “Prospect Pravdy”, works are ongoing for the installation of dual-layer monolithic tunnels, along with wall and ceiling concrete pouring.

At the “Prospect Pravdy” station, soil stabilization in the pit is ongoing, and the installation of shoring systems is being carried out.

The metro expansion project includes the construction of two new stations: “Mostytska” and “Prospect Pravdy”.

Tender for Metro Extension

In May 2024, the “Kyiv Metro” announced a tender for the expansion of the metro network in the Vynogradar area.

In December 2023, “Kyiv Metro” legally terminated the contract with “Kyivmetrobud” due to unsatisfactory construction work timelines.

In early November 2024, “Avtostrada Group” commenced construction of the metro to the residential area of Vynogradar. The extension of the Syrets-Pechersk (green) line from the “Syrets” station will take place.

Two stations are planned: “Mostytska” and “Prospect Pravdy”. The total length of construction will be 3.78 km and will include 6 construction sections.
