The Ukrainian company TAF Industries has unveiled its latest development - the "Quasar-A" electronic warfare system aimed at protecting vehicles and armored equipment. The manufacturer shared the system's capabilities in a recent post.

The "Quasar-A" EW system is characterized by its effective countermeasures against kamikaze drones and multirotor UAVs. Key features of the system include:

  • 360° coverage with a range of up to 300 meters;
  • Suppression of control and video transmission channels;
  • Five channels, each with a power of 100 W;
  • Selectable frequency ranges.

It creates an active jamming field, blocking control and video transmission. With magnetic antennas, deployment takes just 5 minutes. The "Quasar-A" operates in all weather conditions, including rain, dust, and frost, features IP66 protection, and has a battery life of up to 2 hours. The system helps maintain defense lines, protects crew members, and saves lives,” as stated in TAF Industries' video.

Additionally, in September, TAF Industries announced the codification of the FPV drone Kolibri 13-O with a fiber-optic communication channel. This drone is an enhanced version of the standard Kolibri model, specifically designed to operate in dense electronic warfare conditions. The manufacturer highlights unique features that make this UAV effective on the battlefield.
