On October 6, the "Main Information and Computing Center" of the Kyiv City State Administration signed a contract with "Smart Apps" LLC for the modernization of the "Kyiv Digital" system worth 7.66 million UAH. This was reported by the publication "Our Money" citing data from "Prozorro".
The "Kyiv Digital" system includes mobile applications such as "Kyiv Digital" and "Parking Inspector's ARM".
This year, improvements to the mobile app "Kyiv Digital" are planned to enhance usability and expand the features of the administrative panel.
Among the planned enhancements:
- creation of a new "Leisure" service for access to information about cultural sites;
- notification of parents about children's movements;
- counting parking spots designated for people with disabilities;
- automatic session termination for parking in case of technical failures;
- notifications about changes in metro and commuter train operations;
- information on the operating hours of ground transport;
- alerts about service outages via modal windows.
This is already the third agreement this year regarding the modernization of the "Kyiv Digital" system as part of the "Digital Kyiv" program for 2024-2027.
In June, the "GIOC" contracted "IT Group Ukraine" LLC for 22.39 million UAH, which included the development of services such as "Waste Management", "Kyiv City Fairs", and "Who is my Deputy".
In April, "Smart Apps" received a contract worth 21.98 million UAH that included free public transport rides for privileged categories and GPS data for the commuter train.
The main competitor was "Seira Solutions" headed by Tatyana Ostrovskaya.
"Smart Apps" is managed by Olena Tymoshchuk, and owned by Veniamin Matushevich.
