The Ukrainian manufacturer Himera Radios has announced the successful completion of its first state order for the defense ministry of a European NATO member country, which has chosen to remain unnamed.
As part of the order, the Ukrainian company conducted training sessions for local military personnel and communication units. Himera Radios stated that its communication systems were highly praised for their low detectability in radio frequencies, resilience to electronic warfare, user-friendliness, long battery life, and adaptability to modern combat conditions.
"This is a significant step in strengthening international partnerships and developing secure communication systems on the battlefield… These results confirm HIMERA's technological competitiveness and the trust of our partners," the manufacturer noted in its announcement.
It is worth noting that in August, Himera Radios announced the launch of version 2.0 for its tactical radios. According to the developers, these radios can now cover battalion-brigade links, which is critical for battlefield coordination.
In July, the Himera G1 PRO radio underwent explosive testing at a military training ground, where it was detonated in various configurations — from 200 grams to 1 kg of C-4.
