Residents and visitors of Kyiv can now easily find market addresses using the Kyiv Digital app. The new feature «Markets» streamlines the search process.

This was announced by the app development team.

The Department of Information and Communication Technologies emphasizes that digitization extends beyond transportation to other services. The goal is to provide every resident of Kyiv with convenient tools for daily life, with seasonal markets serving as a key aspect of the city's cultural scene.

In the new app version, users can:

• receive weekly notifications about market schedules;
• view market locations on the map;
• find out how to reach the market venue;
• check how markets might affect public transport routes.

Additionally, users can save markets to their «Favorites» for easy access and receive reminders in advance.

To activate notifications for all markets, users need to:

1) go to their profile;

2) select the «Notifications» section — «Active Leisure»;

3) enable notifications for «Market Schedule».

Adding a market to favorites will automatically enable notifications for that particular market.

Moreover, the Kyiv Digital app allows users to set up notifications for:

• the end of trips on transport cards and QR ticket expiration;
• changes in public transport movement;
• road closures or vehicle movement restrictions;
• curfew reminders;
• parking start notifications;
• results of petitions you signed;
• beginning and end of air raid alerts;
• reminders for moments of silence;
• power outages and restorations in your home.
