Ukraine commemorates Tank Troops Day every year on September 14.

This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal via Telegram.

"Tank units are a steadfast shield for Ukraine. The speed, skill, and resilience of our tank crews instill fear in the enemy," highlighted Shmyhal.

"Dear warriors! In the toughest moments, you show true bravery. You have quickly mastered the new equipment provided to Ukraine by our allies. Your expertise sets an example for the free world," Shmyhal addressed the troops.

He expressed gratitude to Ukrainian tankers for their daily courage and professionalism.

"Eternal memory to those who sacrificed everything in the battles for Ukraine and its people," added Shmyhal.

It is worth noting that the President of Ukraine established Tank Troops Day by decree on September 9, 2023, which is celebrated annually on September 14.
