A tragic traffic accident occurred in Cherkasy, leading to the death of three people and injuries to one child.
This was reported by the Cherkasy police on their Facebook page.

"On September 2, near the village of Pishchane, two cars collided. The police initiated a criminal investigation due to violations of traffic safety rules that resulted in fatalities. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver of the Ford Fiesta crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a "VAZ-2110". As a result of the accident, three individuals died at the scene, and an injured child was hospitalized", - the statement says.

It is noted that the deceased include a 28-year-old female driver of the Ford, a 56-year-old male driver of the VAZ, and his 65-year-old female passenger.

Investigators from the transport crimes department have entered information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under part 3 of Article 286 (Violations of traffic safety rules that resulted in the death of several persons) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, police are conducting necessary investigative actions to establish all circumstances of the accident.
