On September 1, the "Diya" portal launched a new service called Diya.AI.

This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

He emphasized that Ukraine will be the first country to use AI to provide governmental services.

"Today we launched Diya.AI on the Diya portal. It is the world's first government AI agent that not only answers questions but also provides services directly in the chat. Soon, it will be available in the mobile app as well", – Fedorov mentioned on Telegram.

He also pointed out that Diya.AI is capable of:

1. Providing services

In the chat, you can receive the initial service — an income certificate. Just type: "I need an income certificate" — and it will appear in your cabinet on the Diya portal. In the near future, five more services will be available through Diya.AI.

2. Providing information about services on "Diya"

How to register as an entrepreneur? What is the Baby Package? There’s no need to search for this information online — just ask Diya.AI.

3. Recommending a service based on your situation

For instance, if your house is damaged, it will instantly provide information about eRecovery and instructions on how to receive compensation from the government.

"Currently, Diya.AI is operating in open beta testing. We will continue to train it to respond even faster and better to requests. Your feedback is essential for this — so test it out, like, dislike, and leave comments directly in the chat", – Fedorov informed.

He also emphasized that Ukraine's mission is to be among the top three countries in the world by 2030 in AI development and integration into the public sector.
