On August 24, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced a collection of silver coins to celebrate Ukraine's Independence Day.

This set is dedicated to the significant symbols of our state - the Coat of Arms, the Anthem, and the Flag of Ukraine.

The symbols that surround us can unite or divide, and state symbolism always contains a deep meaning for all citizens, reminding us of what is most precious.

"This is a symbol and meaning that is felt by millions of Ukrainians around the world.

I proudly present yet another numismatic update we have prepared for Ukraine's Independence Day," said NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny.

This set of commemorative coins 'National Symbols of Ukraine' honors the key attributes of our national identity - the coat of arms, the flag, and the anthem, made of silver.

The Trident is a legacy of the Kyivan State of Volodymyr the Great, a symbol of unity and freedom, the right to self-determination.

The blue and yellow flag represents the colors of the sky and wheat, symbolizing prosperity, natural wealth, and Ukraine's flourishing.

The anthem 'Ukraine Has Not Yet Perished' is a song that has uplifted the national spirit for over a century and calls for struggle.

"The symbols of the state live in the hearts of each of us. They connect generations, shape national memory, and remind us that freedom is a value we carry through time! They are immortalized in coins to remind us: Ukrainian independence has a strong foundation - our unity, dignity, and memory," shared the NBU Chairman about the spiritual significance of the new coins.
