In the capital of Ukraine, work is ongoing to transform a building into a new Rehabilitation Center for children and youth with disabilities. This was announced by Marina Honda, the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration.
She reminded that the design of this facility began even before the full-scale invasion. The center will be part of a unified rehabilitation space in the city and will assist over 1,600 residents with disabilities in the area, including about 700 young adults and more than 900 children. Marina Honda expressed hope that the contractor and client would fulfill their commitments and complete the main works by the end of 2025. After its opening, the center will provide comprehensive medical, psychological, and social support for children and youth with disabilities.
