The head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, announced that he met with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, Matviy Bidny, and motorsport representative Ivan Zubchuk. They discussed the prospects for motorsport development in the region.

Among the primary objectives is the implementation of a racetrack construction project, which will serve as a venue for training, championships, and large events. According to Kalashnyk, this initiative will provide a safe alternative to illegal street «night races» that threaten the safety of residents and disrupt public order.

«Our goal is to ensure civilized conditions for engaging in motorsports. Kyiv region has the potential to become a leader in developing this infrastructure,» he emphasized.

The Kyiv Regional Military Administration highlights that they plan to move from idea to implementation in the near future.
