The presentation of a remarkable book by Ukrainian military hero and defender of Donetsk airport, Oleksandr Tereshchenko, titled «Life After Loss», took place in Kyiv. The book is available in Braille and audio format.

Lesya Petrivska, the Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, attended the event.

Lesya Petrivska stated: «Despite severe injuries, Oleksandr Tereshchenko continues to inspire us with his spirit and resilience. His story motivates not only veterans but all of us to believe in ourselves and help each other. The book shares real experiences that can support others during tough times. Oleksandr speaks candidly and openly about his struggles, pain, and losses, emphasizing the importance of support. Publications like this are particularly valuable for veterans as they encourage open dialogue about their experiences. It is crucial that the book has become accessible to visually impaired individuals — this is a significant step forward.»
