A tragic incident occurred in Arizona on Navajo territory involving a medical aircraft en route to a hospital for patient pickup. Unfortunately, four people lost their lives in the crash.

Authorities stated that the accident took place around 12:40 PM local time, near the town of Chinle on Navajo land in Arizona.
"The small aircraft was heading to a nearby hospital to pick up a patient when the incident occurred," the Navajo police reported.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) confirmed that the aircraft involved was a Beechcraft 300.
NTSB spokesperson Sarah Taylor Salik mentioned that a team of investigators has already been dispatched to the crash site.
"They are expected to arrive this evening. Upon arrival, they will start documenting the crash site and inspecting the aircraft. The plane will then be taken to a secure location for further examination," the NTSB spokesperson stated.
