Starting July 24, a new air raid alert system will be implemented in the Kyiv region, activating only in areas with a real threat.

This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on social media.

He mentioned that in the event of hostile targets being detected, the alert will only be sent to those areas that are directly threatened, rather than across all of Kyiv region.

“We successfully tested this system last night in collaboration with the Air Forces and the State Emergency Service. It performed reliably and without failures,” assured the head of the administration.

This is not just a technical upgrade, but the introduction of targeted notification principles that meet the demands of our times for supporting business operations, educational processes, and other essential sectors during the war.

Modernization of the entire regional alert system continues in the area.

The new system architecture includes modern equipment, digital communication channels, and backup power sources to ensure autonomous operation even during outages.
