President Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation regarding an important holiday.
In his speech, he emphasized the significance of this day for all of us.
Dear compatriots!
Today, on the fifteenth of July, we celebrate a significant moment in our country’s history.
This day symbolizes the renewal of our national identity. It is a celebration of the connection between generations and our shared past and future.
A bridge connecting us all stands on three pillars: we were, we are, and we will be.
Life will always prevail on this land, along with our values and spirit. The best in our people, who, despite challenges, support each other and their nation.
These are the stories of our heroes, of what we feel, regardless of who we are: soldiers, teachers, musicians, or just citizens.
These are tales of our days and nights, about the hard times we are experiencing together.
We remain loyal to our state, wanting to see happy faces of our children.
And we believe that we will succeed. On our land, there will never be hostility, and we will remain ourselves.
Dawn will inevitably come.
Of course, we want to sleep a little longer, but we find the strength to rise, to support one another. After all, we are Ukrainians, and together we are strong.
We overcome each day together, supporting each other and finding joy in simple things.
When women from the municipal services plant flowers, we know that we still have hope and beauty.
Each night is a test of our resilience, and each morning is a new chance for unity.
We hear others marvel at our strength, but we do not seek praise. We are simply protecting our home.
I thank each and every one of you. Millions of Ukrainians who make up our nation. Our story continues, and we believe in our future.
For we will always be here.
Happy Statehood Day, dear Ukrainians!
Glory to Ukraine!
