The scorching heat in the capital has persisted for several days, and no significant drop in temperature is expected.
Today, the Municipal Guard assisted a man suffering from heatstroke in central Kyiv.
According to the «Municipal Guard», a report was received about a man feeling unwell at the entrance of «Volodymyrska Hill» park.
The guards promptly arrived at the scene, provided first aid, and waited for the arrival of an ambulance called by the man's wife.
The couple expressed their gratitude for the timely help and support. Once assured there was no danger, they called a taxi and left the park.
«During hot weather, remember the basic safety measures: avoid prolonged sun exposure, wear hats, drink plenty of water, and closely monitor your health and that of your loved ones,» the Municipal Guard reminded.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center also noted that a slight decrease in temperature to 27 degrees is expected on July 11, after which it will rise again to 32 degrees. Additionally, from July 11 to 13, an extraordinary fire hazard level is anticipated in Ukraine, particularly in Kyiv and many northern regions.
