Today, July 6th, restrictions have been placed on truck traffic during the day in Kyiv.
According to the patrol police, in order to preserve road surfaces, trucks are prohibited from moving when the air temperature reaches +28 degrees Celsius or higher. This ban applies to vehicles with a gross weight exceeding 24 tons and a load per axle greater than 7 tons.
The police advise drivers to wait out the hot period in parking areas along the roadways or near roadside service facilities.
