On July 6th at 5:00 PM, a rally will take place in Kyiv near the «Lybidska» metro station to support Ukrainian soldiers held captive.

This event is organized by the Association of Families of Azovstal Defenders.

The main goal of the rally is to draw attention to the plight of thousands of Ukrainian defenders currently in enemy captivity. Participants will gather to show support for the prisoners and their families, reminding everyone that the struggle continues not only on the front lines but also for the liberation of every one of our people.

The organizers encourage everyone to come with flags, banners, or simply with open hearts to collectively say: we do not forget.

“Every voice matters. Every presence is a sign of support,” the Association emphasizes.

It is known that the Russian side violates all norms of international law and the Geneva Conventions regarding the treatment of prisoners of war. In addition to inadequate conditions, the enemy employs torture during interrogations and inflicts moral humiliation.

Deaths due to torture and unbearable conditions in enemy captivity have already been documented by Ukrainian and international human rights organizations.
