A tragic incident occurred in Romania when a bus carrying 60 Ukrainian passengers collided with a Romanian minibus, resulting in one death.

The accident happened in the early morning of June 30 on the DN2 highway near Bacău, in the northeast of the country. The bus, which had 60 Ukrainian citizens onboard, including 21 children, collided with a minibus that was parked on the roadside. Preliminary information suggests that the bus crashed into the minibus.
The police in Bacău reported that a 29-year-old woman from Romania, who was a passenger in the minibus, died as a result of the crash. Four others from the minibus were seriously injured and hospitalized. One person from the bus was also hospitalized, while six others, including two children, received adequate assistance at the scene.
The nationality of the 40-year-old bus driver has not been disclosed, only that he is not a Romanian citizen. A breathalyzer test returned a negative result.
