The exhibition will unveil the long-standing foreign policy efforts of Pylyp Orlyk.

On the occasion of the 315th anniversary of Pylyp Orlyk's Constitution, in celebration of Ukraine's Constitution Day, the National Reserve "Hetman Capital" in collaboration with the Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine has prepared a new exhibit titled "Pylyp Orlyk. The Path of the Hetman".

"This is the first exhibition that reveals the extensive foreign policy activities of the Hetman on the European stage aimed at securing the freedom of the 'Cossack nation' and forming an anti-Russian coalition," the museum explains.

The foundation of the exhibition consists of original artifacts: rare printed materials, books, maps, engravings, paintings, tiles, and weapons from the collections of the National Reserve "Hetman Capital" and the Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine. The theme is further enriched by copies of documents from the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine, the Manuscript Institute of the V.I. Vernadsky National Library, and archives from Sweden, Poland, and France.

For the first time, copies of documents from the State Archives of Sweden, discovered by the reserve's historians in 2024 with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, will be presented.

The exhibition can be viewed at the Museum of Books and Printing of Ukraine from June 24 to December 1, 2025.
