On Thursday, June 19, a technical glitch occurred in the fare payment system for surface public transport in the capital. As a result, QR tickets may not function properly. This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

At this moment, you can pay for your ride in surface transport using alternative methods:

transport and digital cards;

bank cards;

gadgets with NFC linked to a bank card.

It is noted that while recovery work is ongoing, Kyivpastrans controllers will not penalize passengers who attempted to use QR tickets. Additional information about the restoration of the QR ticket payment system will be provided later.
