The company "Ukrzaliznytsia" has signed a contract for the supply of 95 new train cars, spending over 5 billion UAH at the Kryukov carriage building plant.

This information was published on the "Prozorro" portal.

According to the tender results, the contract was signed on June 6, with a total value of 4.475 billion UAH excluding VAT. Including VAT, the contract amount reaches 5.37 billion UAH.

Under the terms, the company will receive 88 cars of the CU type, equipped with a conductor's rest compartment, and 7 cars of the CUI type, designated for transporting persons with disabilities and the train manager.

The price of one CU type car is 46.895 million UAH excluding VAT (56.27 million UAH including VAT), while the CUI type car costs 49.8 million UAH excluding VAT (59.76 million UAH including VAT).
