There has been a technical glitch in Kyiv Metro that has rendered contactless bank card payments at turnstiles unavailable.

This information has been confirmed by the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).

Payment by card through the "Oschadbank" system is currently down due to technical difficulties.

The KCSA has reported that bank specialists are actively working to resolve the issue. The timeline for the restoration of terminal operations is not yet specified.

At this moment, passengers can pay for their metro ride in the following ways:

• using a transport card;
• via QR code in the "Kyiv Digital" app;
• with a paper QR ticket.
