Surge in Hybrid Vehicle Popularity in Ukraine

In April, Ukraine saw the addition of over 2,700 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV) to its fleet. This marks a 46% increase compared to last year.

According to "Ukravtoprom", the share of new cars in this total reached 63%, up from 51% last year.

In the new passenger car segment, the market leader among hybrids remains the TOYOTA RAV-4 with 268 units sold. The second spot goes to the AUDI Q8 with 112 units, followed closely by the TOYOTA Yaris Cross with 109 units.

Among imported used hybrids, the TOYOTA Prius takes the lead with 74 units. Also in the top three are the KIA Niro (58 units) and the TOYOTA RAV-4 (47 units).

In March, Ukraine's fleet was boosted by over 2,100 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV), reflecting a 15% increase compared to last year.
