Fire Danger Alert in Ukraine

image

In most regions of Ukraine, except for Crimea and some western areas, an elevated fire danger level has been declared from April 29 to May 1.

This information is provided by the Ukrainian Emergency Management Agency.

During this period, there is a high likelihood of forest and field fires, particularly in the central, southern, eastern, and parts of northern regions.

The fifth level of fire danger prohibits any open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescuers urge the public to adhere to fire safety regulations, refrain from burning dry vegetation, and avoid leaving fires unattended.
