On April 18, two tragic incidents were reported in the Kyiv region, linked to fires ignited by the burning of dry plants.

Details: In the Boryspil district, a fire broke out at 18:14 in Pereiaslav, affecting grassy areas.

During the firefighting efforts, a deceased man was discovered.

Earlier, at 11:00, a fire on 5 hectares occurred in the village of Mostyshche in the Fastiv district.

Almost an hour later, strong winds caused the fire to spread to three nearby outbuildings, where another victim was found.

It is imperative to note: "Burning dry vegetation is extremely hazardous!

This can lead to widespread fires, destruction of property, and, tragically, loss of life".
