As of the end of July 2025, the total national and guaranteed debt of Ukraine reached $186.13 billion, increasing by $1.29 billion over the month.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
It is reported that on July 31, 2025, the government and guaranteed debt of Ukraine amounted to UAH 7,773.87 billion, equivalent to $186.13 billion.
"During July 2025, the national and guaranteed debt of Ukraine increased by UAH 76.92 billion in local currency and by $1.29 billion in dollar terms," the statement noted.
Specifically, the external debt guaranteed by the government was UAH 5,827.95 billion (74.97% of the total) or $139.54 billion, while the internal guaranteed debt was UAH 1,945.92 billion (25.03% of the total) or $46.59 billion.
The total national debt of Ukraine reached UAH 7,477.52 billion (96.19% of the total) or $179.03 billion, and the guaranteed debt stood at UAH 296.35 billion (3.81%) or $7.1 billion.
According to IMF forecasts, Ukraine's total national debt is expected to rise to 110% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) this year.
