The electronic services tax paid by foreign companies has generated approximately 7 billion UAH for Ukraine from January to May.

According to Danilo Hetmantsev, Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Finance, the volume of taxable electronic services has increased by 29.5% compared to the same period in 2024. This is also 1.8 billion more than the same period in 2023.

The number of companies paying the electronic services tax has risen to 136. For the first five months of 2025, revenues amounted to around 7 billion UAH, equivalent to approximately €76.1 million or $85.2 million.

Among the largest taxpayers are Google, Apple, Meta, Valve, Sony, Netflix, Spotify, Adobe, Etsy, Epic, Upwork, and Wargaming Group. Hetmantsev noted that Bolt and Uklon contributed €4.4 million, while OnlyFans brought in $0.8 million.

It is important to remember that the electronic services tax is a VAT of 20% that came into effect on January 1, 2022, paid by foreign companies not registered in Ukraine based on income from the sale of various electronic services.

Earlier, Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, reported that in the first quarter of 2025, the electronic services tax generated 3.5 billion UAH.
