Ukraine's transport infrastructure has incurred losses exceeding $36 billion, and the need for recovery has already surpassed $77 billion.
This information was announced by representatives of the Ukrainian delegation at the International Transport Forum in Leipzig, as reported by CTS.
"This is the fourth year we are discussing recovery even amid full-scale conflict. Not just survival – but development," noted Deputy Minister for Community and Territorial Development Serhiy Derkach.
During the ministerial session at the forum, projects in the transport sector and the operational mechanisms of a special fund for implementing future initiatives were discussed. More than 30 countries and international organizations participated in the session.
Derkach highlighted that Ukraine already has two projects developed within the framework of the International Transport Forum, but the delegation is working to increase their number.
