The United Kingdom has announced an additional £25 million (approximately €29 million) for humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
This information was revealed by the press service of the British government, according to "European Truth".
The funds will support organizations engaged in humanitarian work in Ukraine.
Of this amount, £10 million will be allocated to the HAVEN initiative, which focuses on providing assistance to civilians in conflict zones.
£9.4 million will go to the Ukrainian Red Cross, part of which will be used to improve rehabilitation centers, including those for veterans.
It is also worth noting that Sweden announced approximately €2 million by March 8 to support women's initiatives in Ukraine, followed by an additional $137 million for recovery and development.
Finland has also announced €16 million in humanitarian aid for Ukraine, to be provided through the UN and the Red Cross.
